This comprehensive guide covers everything you need to know about creating and managing your Renderiq account, from initial signup to advanced account settings.

Signing Up for Renderiq

Option 1: Email and Password Signup

The traditional email/password signup process:

1. Navigate to Sign Up: Go to /signup or click "Sign Up" in the navigation
2. Enter Your Information:
   • Full Name: Your display name (required)
   • Email Address: A valid email address (required)
   • Password: Minimum 6 characters (required)
   • Confirm Password: Must match your password (required)
3. Accept Terms: Check the box to accept Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
4. Create Account: Click "Create account" button
5. Email Verification: Check your email for a verification link
6. Verify Email: Click the verification link in the email

Important: Email verification is required before you can sign in. The verification email is sent automatically after signup.

Option 2: OAuth Signup (Google or GitHub)

Quick signup using OAuth providers:

1. Navigate to Sign Up: Go to /signup
2. Choose Provider: Click either the "Google" or "GitHub" button
3. Authorize Renderiq: Grant permissions in the OAuth popup
4. Account Created: Your account is created automatically
5. No Email Verification: OAuth signups don't require email verification

Note: Use the same OAuth provider for future logins. Your account is linked to that provider.

Signing In

Email and Password Login

1. Navigate to Login: Go to /login or click "Sign In"
2. Enter Credentials:
   • Email address used during signup
   • Your password
3. Remember Me (Optional): Check to stay signed in
4. Sign In: Click "Sign in" button

Troubleshooting: If you can't sign in:

• Verify your email address is correct
• Ensure you've verified your email (check spam folder)
• Try resetting your password
• Contact support if issues persist

OAuth Login

1. Navigate to Login: Go to /login
2. Choose Provider: Click the same OAuth provider you used for signup
3. Authorize: Grant permissions if prompted
4. Signed In: You're automatically signed in

Important: You must use the same OAuth provider (Google or GitHub) that you used during signup.

Credits System

Understanding Credits

Renderiq uses a credit-based billing system:

• Credits: Virtual currency for generating renders
• Balance: Current available credits
• Transactions: History of all credit usage
• Reset: Credits may reset based on subscription plan

Credit Costs

Image Generation:

• Standard Quality: 1 credit
• High Quality: 2 credits
• Ultra Quality: 3 credits

Video Generation:

• Base Cost: 5 credits
• Additional costs based on duration and model

Upscaling:

• Varies based on scale factor (2x, 4x, 10x)

Getting Credits

1. Free Tier: Initial credits upon signup
2. Subscription Plans: Monthly credits included with plans
3. One-time Purchase: Buy credits as needed from billing page

Managing Credits

• View Balance: Check /dashboard/billing for current balance

Account Management

Updating Your Profile

1. Navigate to /dashboard/profile
2. Click "Edit Profile" button
3. Update your information:

4. Click "Save Changes"

Changing Your Password

1. Go to /dashboard/settings
2. Navigate to "Security" section
3. Click "Change Password"

Email Verification

Deleting Your Account

Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. Go to /dashboard/settings
2. Scroll to "Danger Zone" section
3. Click "Delete Account"
4. Enter your password to confirm
5. Type "DELETE" to confirm deletion
6. Click "Delete Account"

What Gets Deleted:

• All projects and renders
• All credit balance (non-refundable)
• All account data
• All uploaded files

What's Preserved:

• Public gallery renders (if made public)
• Transaction records (for legal compliance)

Troubleshooting

Can't Sign In

Common Issues:

• Email not verified (check spam folder)
• Incorrect password (use password reset)
• Wrong OAuth provider (use same provider as signup)
• Account locked (contact support)

1. Verify email address is correct
